Michelle Hanabusa Celebrates Heritage at Getty’s “Alta/A Human Atlas of a City of Angels” Launch
Michelle Hanabusa was recently featured at the launch of “Alta / A Human Atlas of a City of Angels” at the Getty Museum in Los Angeles. In a powerful nod to her heritage, she wore her grandmother’s Hakama, an outfit used during traditional Odori dance performances. Michelle stood proudly alongside admired mentors, contemporaries, and friends, all of whom are making meaningful contributions to their communities. This event, part of PST ART: Art & Science Collide, celebrated the rich cultural tapestry of Los Angeles through powerful stories and artistic expression.
